  1. Holiday to Inishowen - July 2010
During July 2010 we travelled to Ireland via the Fast ferry from Holyhead to Ireland then travelled across coutry to Londonderry then along the edge of Loch Foyle to our hotel at Redcastle.
The Inishowen Peninsula brings back memories of several names familiar in a Met Office - Malin (the sea area), Bloody Foreland (the forecaster always used this headland for describing the position of fronts!).
Visiting sites was designed with the aid of the morning weather forecast so that we tried to be travelling whilst it was raining and out walking when it had stopped raining!
